The inaugural meeting of the CEO Executive Leadership Safety and Health Roundtable will begin on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 18th and continue through the morning of Thursday, May 19th. The afternoon of Day One will focus on the linkage between leadership in safety and health and operational excellence, and will feature:

  • Paul O’Neill, former CEO and Chair of ALCOA
  • Tom Krause, former CEO and Chair of Behavioral Science Technology (BST)
  • Sean O’Keefe, former head of NASA

On the evening of Wednesday, May 18th, attendees will have the opportunity to meet key legislators over cocktails and converse with peers during dinner. The morning of Day Two will include sessions on effective safety and health practices, roundtable discussions, and remarks from key government officials
and legislators, such as:

  • David Michaels, Assistant Secretary of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
  • Chris Hart, Chair of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB)
  • John Howard head of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)
  • Vanessa Sutherland, head of the U.S. Chemical Safety Board (CSB)
