Jack Balsamo shares more than 30 years of consulting and coaching expertise with his clients. He excels in leading large‑scale, multi-site transformations. Organizations he works with strengthen culture, reduce serious injuries and fatalities, and improve operational performance.

• While much of his time is focused on Senior Leaders, Jack’s background as a hands‑on operational leader, the Senior Leader of a professional consulting organization, and an executive consultant/coach give him a variety of perspectives: how to drive change inside an organization, how to lead consulting teams that deliver lasting results, and how leaders untangle safety and well-being from P/L and operational performance pressures.
  
• After a short stint as a project engineer Jack began his leadership career in operations as a maintenance leader in high-speed industrial packaging. He found passion for safety after experiencing devastating injuries as a supervisor and manager. Jack moved into regional safety leadership positions at a fortune 50 industrial organization with a mix of union and non-union locations with complex cultural issues. He leveraged consulting help and re-shaped his understanding of engineering’s role in safety and the overall system components that influence exposure to harm. 
  
• In his consulting roles, Jack has partnered with leadership teams across rail, airlines, utilities, food manufacturing, construction, oil/chemical, pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, and other high‑hazard industries to align leadership behaviors and create environments where care and accountability reinforce each other.
  
• Jack works as a player/coach alongside his clients and is focused on understanding their situation and partnering to improve. What motivates Jack most is helping organizations build cultures, where in the wake of success, people feel valued, respected, and equipped to lead the future with integrity.

Jack is a Cum Laude graduate in Industrial Management from Illinois State University.
