United States

Tyler Groover is a Texas-based safety and leadership consultant with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations make smarter, more sustainable safety decisions.

Tyler spent nearly a decade coaching leaders and strengthening safety systems at BASF, the world’s largest chemical manufacturer. During that time, he developed corporate-level safety curricula, directed the Safe Driver program and policies, implemented behavior-based safety processes, and led large-scale cultural assessments across multiple sites and business units.

Before joining BASF, Tyler spent over 12 years with Behavioral Science Technology (BST), now a part of DEKRA. He began his career conducting statistical analysis and supporting the firm’s diagnostic tools before moving into a field consulting role. In that position, he provided hands-on, “boots on the ground” support to clients across North America – including NASA, BNSF, PG&E, and Tyson Foods. His work consistently helped align leadership behavior with operational priorities, driving measurable gains in engagement, accountability, and safety performance.

Known for his pragmatic approach and focus on results, Tyler helps organizations translate culture change into real operational improvement. His method blends behavioral science, practical field experience, and leadership coaching to create environments where safety excellence grows naturally from strong culture. Tyler has BA in Sociology from UC Davis.
