Curious to learn how to get executive support for your strategy to prevent Serious Injuries and Fatalities (SIF)? Do you want to know more about who impacts the occurrence of SIF events and what you can do to further improve?
SÄKU (Swedish Safety Culture Network) has invited Krause Bell Group to present our perspective based on our 2015 study focused on better understanding how decisions at all levels within the organization impact SIF events. Filip Coumans will share the principles of the Safe Decision Making® Methodology, as well as the results of our research into 60 actual serious injuries and fatalities across 6 multinationals. The presentation will review:
- Who (what level) in the organization makes decisions that impact SIF events?
- When are those decisions made relative to the time of the accident?
- How do decisions break down?
- What types of cognitive bias influence decision-making?
Filip will also discuss Krause Bell Group’s experience using this methodology and the additional findings as the database has grown to include more than 300 SIF events, and close to 5,000 decisions from 43 organizations in 39 countries.
This webinar is open to the public, but SÄKU charges a fee for non-members to attend.
