Press Release: Dr. Thomas Krause Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award at Safety On The Edge Global Forum

BALTIMORE, MD. – May 5, 2026 – Dr. Thomas Krause was announced as the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Safety On The Edge Global Forum on May 5, 2026. His pioneering research, including the seminal SIF Study that introduced the serious injury and fatality paradigm and new safety triangle, has helped organizations worldwide reduce serious incidents and foster a culture of safety. He co‑founded Behavioral Science Technology (BST) with Dr. John Hidley in 1979 and later established Krause Bell Group with Kristen Bell in 2015, building on that research to help organizations worldwide implement processes that improve safety performance by strengthening decision-making, improving leadership, and building culture. He is also the co-author of 7 Insights into Safety Leadership and the author of several other books including, If Your Culture Could Talk: A Story About Culture Change.
